Three V is an excellent addition to the Viscariello Hospitality Group of restaurants owned and operated by the Viscariello family. The family has run several restaurants in the Plymouth area for 45 years.
From the Three V website: "The Name Three V is a direct nod to the VHG's introduction of their exciting new concept, inspired by the third generation, which celebrates their legacy of service and the evolution of the Viscariello Family's love affair with great food."
Situated on a corner in the Cordage Park of Plymouth, the Three V restaurant is located right off Route 3A on the north side of town, tucked away in a quiet location. The restaurant's main dining room focuses on a large bar surrounded by hightop seating washed in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful brick walls and a high ceiling. There is a second dining room that provides tables and a more peaceful dining experience. A patio with rod-iron fencing offers ample outdoor seating options. Three V provides live music on several evenings, broadcasting to the outdoor patio. The restaurant publishes a schedule on its website.
On a recent visit, I joined a friend and enjoyed a wonderful dinner seated on the patio. The server was polite, engaging, and attentive. A patron needs to remind themselves when dining outside; the extra distance amplifies the time involved to bring food and drinks to/from the kitchen/bar. However, we never felt neglected as our server was constantly checking in on us. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the live music as we listened via a speaker.
We started our dinner sharing the Hot Honey Fried Calamari with banana peppers, cherry tomatoes, and a Thai dipping sauce. The dipping sauce had a kick, but you can choose to enjoy or skip as it's on the side.
For dinner, my friend enjoyed the Butternut Squash Ravioli: butternut squash, wrapped in thin egg pasta, tossed with craisins, sliced almonds, in a brown butter and sage cream sauce. I ordered the Three V Burger! An 8 oz patty, with cheddar cheese, bacon, onions, lettuce, roasted garlic aioli between a toasted brioche bun, branded with the Three V logo, served with curly fries. In addition, one can order avocado or fried egg as options.
I find myself gravitating to similar entrees when I return to restaurants I enjoy. So much that if I order something else on the menu, I feel disappointed. This is the case at Three V - I love their Three V Burger!
