Living on the south shore of Massachusetts some 50 years, I’ve had my share of good, bad and well unmentionable Chinese Food. We are fortunate to have a relatively new restaurant in Hanover that offers high-quality American-Chinese food and Sushi.
The restaurant has a pleasant upscale open atmosphere. The restaurant has high ceilings and split into two rooms. The front has a sushi bar and cathedral ceiling. The back has a bar and more seating. Looking at the menu compared to other Chinese restaurants you might think it’s not too big, but the quality of the food surpasses anything on the south shore. The ingredients are top quality, and all the food is prepared to order. You won’t find something that’s been sitting in a giant wok all day here. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
If you’re in the area, I recommend stopping in or ordering takeout which I do a few times a year.
My order
Roast Pork Strips: The pork strips cooked perfectly and tasty - not just on the edges.
Egg Rolls: The egg rolls were cooked perfectly, moist on the inside, crunchy wrap and wonderful taste.
Crab Rangoons: The rangoons had real crab meat with a light cream cheese filling. The wraps were perfectly cooked, crispy and tasty, not greasy.
Chicken Fingers: Full of flavor, moist, meaty chicken with a crispy shell.
Beef Teriyaki: Sliced sirloin in Asian marinade and grilled perfectly.
Pork LoMein: This is my favorite. I could order this alone and be happy. Fresh ingredients and cooked to order.
